The Storyteller’s Presence: Voice, VAK & the Brain | Let Me Tell Ya! Storytelling Guild (Virtual)

June 28 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
The Storyteller's Presence

Storytelling Connections |Let Me Tell Ya! Storytelling Guild presents the third session of its ongoing virtual workshop series — a focused, practical 75-minute workshop on the craft of storytelling presence.

Session 3: The Storyteller’s Presence explores the techniques storytellers use to make audiences lean in: VAK communication modes (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic), focal point technique adapted for virtual platforms, voice modulation, and the neuroscience behind why stories create connection.

Participants will identify their dominant storytelling mode, practice all three VAK modalities through structured exercises, learn a camera-based focal point system for Zoom storytelling, and apply brain chemistry concepts — dopamine, oxytocin, and cortisol — to their own stories. The session closes with live mini-story performances with structured audience observation.

Format: Virtual via Zoom | 75 minutes

Audience: Open to all — no prior storytelling experience required. New and returning participants welcome.

Registration: $25–$50 sliding scale. Returning attendees receive 20% off with a discount code.

Register via Eventbrite. Zoom link provided upon registration.
