Clinton Atwater’s vision is simple and powerful: Connecting Stories and People. A storyteller, speaker, and community builder, Clinton grew up listening to family tales around a Michigan campfire — and never stopped believing in the magic of a well-told story. Through Storytelling Connections, he performs and produces live events for schools, libraries, museums, and festivals. He produces Let Me Tell Ya!, a virtual storytelling community that meets twice monthly for guild workshops and themed story swaps. His Living Story workshop series — offered both live and virtually — helps participants find and share their own stories. In 2025, he received the prestigious ORACLE Award from the National Storytelling Network for his service and leadership to the Mid-Atlantic storytelling community. He has served on the VASA Board of Directors since 2020, currently as Treasurer and Membership Chair, bringing the same passion for community to everything he does.
