Susan Clark specializes in tales from the Appalachian Mountain regions and Native American traditions as well as those of Europe and Asia. Telling tales of sassy rabbits, kind-hearted possums, wily coyotes, and old-fashioned lifestyles, she brings life to her characters through body, voice and facial expression enhanced with her experiences of stage acting and a long career as children’s librarian in public and school libraries. She tells stories to child and adult audiences in schools, libraries, museums, festivals and churches as well as outdoor settings. Susan has been spinning yarns and telling tales on herself for over 30 years and lives in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
