I learned about storytelling in the late 1970’s at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesboro, TN. For the last 25 years or so I’ve been telling stories at family dance and music camps (as a camper, not staff.) It’s fun! Before Covid I led a Ghost & Mystery walking tour in Charlottesville, which is really a two-hour long story.

Lately, I’ve been working with a small group of folks to produce Charlottesville’s annual storytelling festival, Celebration of Tales. (Y’all come, now!)

My wife and I sponsor Fresh Stories Served Hot, a storytelling house concert series in our home. Any experienced tellers interested in entertaining a crowd of adults in Charlottesville please contact me for details.
