Donna Joyce, (Joyce is my last name ) pronouns she/her/hers, is a memoirist writer and storyteller. She believes in the hope, solutions, healing, and change that creativity can bring to ourselves, individually and communally.

Joyce finally claimed the identity of “Artist” in 2011 while participating in activism with people trying to live their most authentic lives. She had known she was a writer since age 7 but it felt elusive until now and is now actively dreaming into reality her personal journey, reclaiming her self, her creativity, her humanity. Her first ever solo show, When I Grow Up…, debuted April 2022, in Richmond, VA, directed by Amanda Rountree, produced by The If You Could See Me Project/Erin Mahone. She is looking forward to traveling and performing it in small theaters and fringe festivals around the US and the world.

Joyce is a native of NY living in Richmond, VA with her husband of 21 years, her two children ages 17 and 12, and two bunnies Bee and Puppycat.
