I was born to tell stories. Raised in the Appalachian tradition of gathering around a tale, I carry a natural gift for drama — the kind passed down through front-porch evenings, community rituals, and the art of holding a room. That love of the dramatic moment shapes everything I touch, from the dark worlds I build through Scaldcrow Games and Geek Opera to beloved series like Friday Frights and Fables and my annual 31 Days of Halloween celebration. I bring the energy of a true storyteller to every stage, page, and gathering I enter. I live in Staunton, Virginia with my wife and dogs.
